Job Title : Sr. Appian DeveloperLocation: : Fully remoteDuration:8+ Month Job Description:Job Title: Sr. Appian Developer Job Description: You will be responsible for:· Performing as a domain expert in one or more parts of the software lifecycle (e.g., coding, testing, deployment). Leads significant pieces of development within the development lifecycle.· Working with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient Appian solutions.· Building applications: interfaces, process flows, expressions, data types, sites, integrations, etc.· Ensuring adherence to Appian best practices and standards, promoting code quality, performance optimization, and security.· Leading code reviews and actively participates in providing feedback on others’ designs/code.· Staying up to date with the latest Appian releases, features, and industry trends, and evaluate their applicability to improve existing solutions.Taking control of complex problems and step through them in a rational wayMaking tactical vs. strategic trade-offsBeing flexible in your thinking; able to evolve a solution when additional information or ideas are presented.Mentoring junior members of the team Business knowledge· Able to work directly with business partners.· Can articulate business needs and translate them into technology solutions.Requirements· Minimum of 2 years of experience of Appian design, development, system integrations, deployment of enterprise system solutions.In-depth knowledge and expertise in your job discipline and working knowledge of related disciplines.· Strong knowledge of Appian design patterns and best practices.· Expert in Appian development using SAIL code.· Appian experience in either Databases (MariaDB, Oracle etc.) and UI DevelopmentDevelops data models or schemas from scratch and knows of key concepts such as ACID, Normalization, and TransactionsDebugs large components with limited assistance and assists other engineers.· Designs and develops practical APIs and abstractions.
