Cognizant Digital Engineering practice is looking to hire a Senior Full Stack Engineer with solid experience working with Java, React JS, AWS, experienced with front end and back end frameworks.

Responsibilities

Performing requirement analyses, driving discussion with Business or Product ManagerDemonstrate sound knowledge of Industry standard processes.Developing high-quality and detailed designs.Able to develop high quality code and assist junior developers.Conducting unit testing using automated unit test frameworks.Identifying risk and conducting mitigation action planning.Using coding standards and best practices to ensure quality.Write well-designed, testable, efficient code.Work in a team environment. Technical ownership of product.Participate and contribute in technical discussions demos and agile cadences.Responsible for team and technical knowledge management.Design & Code to align to technical goals & standards.Adhere to quality goals.Define design build integrate test & possibly deploy.Collaborate with product & UI design teams.

Qualifications

6 to 10 years of experience in the IT industryDegree or equivalent experience in engineering, information systems or related.Sound knowledge of estimation techniques.Strong Experience working with JavaScript, Java, MySQL, Spring Boot, SQL, React JS and AWS.Experience working in Agile / ScrumExcellent knowledge of Java / full stackExcellent analytical skills.Outstanding communication skills.Experienced in application development using AWS or Azure or GCP (Certification desired – AWS/GCP/Azure).Working experience with DB2, SQL or NoSQL databases and any of the UI presentation frameworksGuide in Object Oriented analysis and design with proven understanding of software design patterns.Willing to learn new technologies and enjoys working in a multifaceted fast paced environment.Have an engineering and consulting mind-set to help clients reach their transformation goals.Experience in handling complete software development process from conception to deployment.Solid understanding of Agile methodology, estimation techniques and key ceremonies for effective management/teamwork.Has highly collaborative working style. Can build and manage a team of hard-working engineers.Strong communication skills and participates actively in discussions with business collaborators, architects, and the team members.

Location : New York, NY or Remote

Salary And Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $43,900 – 129,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
