Senior / Lead Java Developer

Description

For our Client, a multinational technology company, known for its search engine and various online services, which have become an integral part of daily life for billions of individuals across the globe, we are looking for a Senior / Lead Java Developer.

For this role we consider candidates residing in Kraków, Wrocław or Gdańsk, due to hybrid mode of work, with 3 days per week working from the office.

Be ready to collaborate with the mobile teams who will actively use the APIs you develop as well as other business stakeholders since GFiber is a really large-scale project.

This project involves creating a package that offers Internet, Cable, Telephone, and Wi-Fi services in one bundled package. The project covers the full cycle of the Fiber installations, starting from the actual client request till active operations and maintenance. All the business-related actions are included, like ticketing, account and asset management, telecom logic, etc.

The project is in the on-prem to cloud migration stage, thus will include a lot of challenging tasks and the opportunity to grow professionally.

What You’ll Do

Develop top-notch and high quality APIs for the Client Project- Fiber mobile and web applicationsAnalyze existing code and help the team prepare for a large GCP migration!Work directly with the customer and business to facilitate any inquiries regarding developmentPerform code reviewsLearn or improve your GCP skillsReview existing code and be ready to dive to some non-Java services or clients as well (be independent with that)

What You Have

5+ years of hands-on Java experienceKnowledge of Microservice Architecture Pattern, REST API, RPC frameworks and gRPCExcellent English communication skills & experience in client-facing communicationsSelf-management and strong prioritization skillsCapability to work in agile environment without direct supervision
