Lead SaaS Developer

Role - Lead SaaS Developer Location - Hendon Virgnia100% Remote 6 months Contract to Hire

Position Responsibilities: As a Lead software engineer, you will play a key role in the development of our new line of SaaS solutions. Your responsibilities will include:Designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining high-quality, scalable, and reliable SaaS solutions.Contributing to and driving design and architecture decisions, aligning them with the product roadmap and business objectives.Championing best practices in software development and service delivery, including agile methodologies, code reviews, unit testing, CI/CD, and TDD.Collaborating closely with geographically distributed and cross-functional team members and stakeholders in a matrixed organization.Staying updated with industry trends and advancements to enhance our development processes and service offering.Fostering a culture of learning, growth and productivity within the team Qualifications:

7+ years of experience in software solution development and delivery, preferably with a SaaS delivery model.Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development using Java.Experience developing solutions based on a microservice architecture.Significant experience with a cloud infrastructure platform (e.g. OCI, AWS, Azure, etc).A proven record of participating in development activities for a startup or fast-moving enterprise, with a successful delivery track record in a high-growth and matrixed environment.Experience with ORMs.Experience with API development.Experience with one or more RDBMS such as Oracle, PostgreSQL or SQL ServerProven experience with industry best practices, including TDD, CI/CD, agile methodologies, code reviews, unit testing, and automation.
