SUMMARY:Tucker-Rose Associates is seeking a Jr. Software Developer (.Net) to help support a Federal Program at the Financial Services Center (FSC) in Austin with the US Department of Veterans Affairs. We are partnered with FavorTech Consulting on this opportunity and the position will allow remote delivery. RESONSIBILITIES:analysis, design, development, testing, and debugging of computer software.range from software design, coding, unit testing, and orchestration.as an active member of the scrum team, providing input to team velocity and sprint ceremonies, planning, demonstrations, and retrospectivesknowledge of one or more systems and one or more platforms and programming languages, including .Net, Java, J2EE, JavaScript, Power BI, etc. REQUIREMENTS:in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, etc. (8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education)years of relevant experience in software developmentof Object-Oriented concepts, principals, and patternsin the creation of error-free .Net codein both Windows and web development environmentswith Agile/Scrum Methodologywriting software documentationin .Net 4.x Framework, .Net Core C#, MVC, Web APIof creating and maintaining tables, views, stored procedures, functions, and triggerswith Microsoft Azure and/or AWSwith providing advice, analysis, and recommendations including service-oriented architecture (SOA), database models, data standardswith Power BI and Power APPS is a pluswith web-service development, in SOAP/XML, REST, JSON, WSDL a plusin developing electronic health record systems is a plusbe able to acquire a Public Trust security clearanceworking with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) applications is a plusworking in a federal government environment a plus
