Job Description:We are seeking a talented WordPress Theme and Plugin Developer to join our team. As a WordPress Developer, you will primarily focus on developing custom themes and plugins for WordPress-based websites and applications. You will collaborate closely with our design and development teams to create unique, feature-rich solutions that meet our clients' needs.
Responsibilities:Develop custom WordPress themes from scratch based on client requirements, utilizing best practices in theme development.Create custom WordPress plugins to extend the functionality of WordPress sites, integrating with third-party APIs and services as needed.Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific project needs, ensuring compatibility and maintainability.Collaborate with designers to implement responsive and visually appealing user interfaces.Optimize theme and plugin performance, speed, and scalability.Conduct thorough testing to ensure cross-browser compatibility, responsiveness, and security.Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise, providing timely solutions.Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, tools, and best practices.
Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).Proven experience as a WordPress Developer, with a strong portfolio of WordPress theme and plugin development projects.Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and MySQL.Extensive experience with WordPress theme and plugin development, including custom post types, taxonomies, hooks, and APIs.Strong understanding of responsive design principles and frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap).Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication and teamwork skills.WordPress certification (e.g., WordPress Certified Developer) is a plus.
