The business is part of a 220m revenue group, but operates independently meaning, you get the benefits of what a large corporate can offer, minus the red tape and politics. This role will be split between two businesses within the group, one focussed on a greenfield internal SaaS project, the other in effect acting as an agency for a number of other businesses within the group globally.
The business is looking for PHP / Laravel engineers who can work independently and do not need a great deal of hand holding to deliver cutting edge solutions. Whilst there will be a great deal of freedom given around working hours and perks like unlimited holidays their standards are high. This means you’ll have a minimum of 4 years working with PHP and Laravel where you have owned projects end to end and be a natural problem solver.
Must Haves Ability to work end to end on complex PHP and Laravel applications.Whilst most projects will be greenfield its important that you are passionate about improving code quality and using TDD as part of your day to day role.Enjoys sharing knowledge and mentoring more junior team members when required.Experience of both leading and architecting greenfield projectsUsing OOP and MVC architecture for the bulk of your career to date Nice to Have Computer Science or similar related degreeExposure and decent understanding of FE tech (JavaScript / CSS / HTML / Vue / React)Experience with database management and design on large scale complex solutions.
