Overview:Hire SQL is seeking an experienced MSSQL Developer to join our team. This remote position is ideal for self-motivated professionals who have a strong foundation in SQL Server development and are looking to contribute to building high-quality, innovative database solutions. The successful candidate will be involved in the full project lifecycle from the design and development of databases to the implementation and support of these systems.
Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases.Implement stored procedures and optimize existing queries to enhance performance.Ensure data integrity and security by managing roles, permissions, and user access levels.Monitor database performance, implement improvements and apply new patches and versions when required.Work collaboratively with other developers, DBAs, and IT staff to develop cohesive project strategies.Provide support and solve issues in a timely manner.
Requirements:Proven experience as an MSSQL Developer or similar role.Expertise in SQL Server and T-SQL (Transact-SQL).Knowledge of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).Familiarity with performance tuning and query optimization.Understanding of SQL Server maintenance practices such as backups, indexing, and clustering.Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Technical Skills:In-depth understanding of database structure principles.Experience in creating and maintaining complex database reports.Ability to manage detailed, comprehensive data and convert complex requirements into technical specifications.Comfortable using tools like SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and Visual Studio.Experience with Git or other version control systems.
Experience:Minimum of 3 years of experience in database development and management using Microsoft SQL Server.A solid track record of working with large-scale SQL databases and implementing precise solutions that meet complex business requirements.
