Job Title: Full Stack Developer/Chief Technology Officer

Redare is a start-up founded to accelerate the transition to a more sustainable economy. The Redare platform combines deep expertise in sustainability and technology to create a digital interface that provides sustainability recommendations for food products. We are looking for a full stack developer to join the founders team as CTO in exchange for equity in the company. Using soft funding Redare have built a first version of our product which is based on a JavaScript front-end (React framework) and a Python back-end (FastAPI framework). We are now looking to bring the continued development of the solution in-house. As the Redare funding strategy is based entirely on soft funding (no VCs), this position is an excellent opportunity for someone who has parallel projects/income and is interested in a long term commitment to build equity rather than salary.

The work may include:- Front-end and website development- Back-end development- Database management and data integration- Data scraping- Setup of cloud environment- API development

This position has a large degree of flexibility and plenty of room for creativity, entrepreneurship and personal growth. The ideal candidate has skills in above, and a passion for making the world a better place.
