This full-time, remote position is open to candidates throughout the United States, offering flexible working hours between 9-5pm or 10-6pm. Your Role:As a PHP Developer at Software Development AI, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining dynamic websites and web applications. You will leverage your deep understanding of PHP to create server-side logic, define and maintain databases, and ensure high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. Working closely with our team of developers and designers, you will play a key role in building and shaping the future of our AI-driven software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:Write clean, well-designed PHP code to develop high-performing web applications.Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software to ensure strong optimization and functionality.Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, including planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements.Utilize backend data services and contribute to increasing existing data services API.Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging technologies.

Technical Requirements:Proven software development experience in PHP.Understanding of open-source projects like Joomla, Drupal, WordPress, Symfony, Laravel, etc.Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, etc.Experience with relational databases, version control tools, and developing web services.Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas.Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages.Knowledge of integrating with RESTful APIs.

Experience:3+ years of professional experience as a PHP Developer or similar role.Demonstrated ability to create and manage web applications for high traffic websites.Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, eBay, etc.).
