Responsibilities:
This role involves identifying and implementing innovative solutions to complex business challenges within The Org. The D365 F&O Technical Developer will collaborate closely with Business Analysts and partners to plan, design, test, and implement solutions, emphasizing code reusability and easy maintenance. The developer will also provide technical support for software issues and integrations with other business systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Support innovation by creatively applying software and cloud architecture, design, and development. Troubleshoot application errors and technical issues, collaborating with IT team members. Collaborate with in-house technical, functional, and end-user teams, as well as third-party vendors. Modify application user interface code and extend back-end logic based on business requirements. Participate in estimations and impact assessments, partnering with Business Analysts. Create and execute unit tests, providing input into regression testing considerations. Engage with the implementation project team and users to architect and develop sustainable application solutions. Produce technical specifications based on functional design specifications. Gain knowledge and experience with The Org's business processes, other ERP platforms, and strategic software platforms. Perform debugging and unit testing of application solutions and integrations. Seek opportunities to reduce complexity and improve application performance. Create and update required documentation to support the system and users.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience with D365 Finance and Operations in design, development, implementation, and integration of enterprise applications. Passion for technology and willingness to explore and adopt emerging technologies for practical business purposes. Positive attitude, collaborative spirit, and ability to work in an agile team environment. Quick understanding of new business domains and creative application of technology to improve processes. Ability to quickly build proof-of-concept solutions for scalable implementation. Experience modeling innovation behaviors: questioning, observing, experimenting, networking, and associating. Self-motivated with good time management skills. Ability to identify issues, generate solutions, and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis. Knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices. Experience working with newer technologies and cloud concepts. Openness and willingness to cross-skill and train in Dynamics AX / D365. Experience in D365 F&O and related tools (PowerBI, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, PowerApps). Experience using Azure DevOps.
