Job Summary:

As a Backend Developer, you will be a vital part of our team, responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side aspects of our platform. Your coding expertise in JavaScript & Python, as well as your knowledge of DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), will be essential for this role. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain data storage solutions, ensuring data accuracy, security, and scalability.Create and manage data pipelines and ETL processesWrite clean, efficient, and maintainable code in JavaScript and Python for data-related componentsParticipate in DevOps practices, implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for data infrastructure, and contribute to automation and system monitoringWork closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data-related systems are aligned with the overall platform architecture and requirementsIdentify and resolve technical issues related to data management and system performanceMaintain technical documentation for data-related systems and processesSkills, Knowledge and ExpertiseSkills:Outstanding interpersonal skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Fluent English Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges Excellent communication and collaboration skill Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile development environment Experience:Proven experience of 3-5 years as a Backend Developer with a focus on data managementProven experience in JavaScript or PythonKnowledge of ML / AI and MLOps practices, a plusKnowledge:Knowledge of DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is advantageous Familiarity with relevant tools and technologies (e.g. data storage systems, cloud platforms) is a plus Knowledge of ML / AI and MLOps practices, a plus Familiarity of distributed compute a plus (messaging, Spark, Ray, etc)Qualification:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related fieldBenefitsCompetitive salary package Private healthcare contribution Annual pay review Regular team socials Working within a culture of innovation and collaboration Opportunity to play a key role in a pioneering growth company Company Laptop will be provided
