(Senior) .Net Developer with Crawler - Remote - 1 week every 2-4 months

For an international institution based in The Hague (Den Haag, Netherlands), we are urgently looking for a remote (Senior) .Net Developer with Crawler. Travel 1 week to The Hague every 2 to 4 months depending project phase!

This position is open for contractors, who would like to commit long-term.

First week on-boarding in The Hague and then travel 1 week to The Hague every 2 to 4 months depending project phase!

Candidates need to be fluent in English. Workpermit is not provided.

Tasks and responsibilities:Implement web services in .NET, following a defined contract/interface specification, to extract information from internet sites and download internet content in a reliable, fast, scalable, and secure way, satisfying the defined service level agreements;Establish OAUTH validation mechanisms within the specified services;Implement validation mechanisms to verify the internet data collectors on a timely basis;Write unit and integration test;Assistance with deployment and configuration of the system;Assist the DevOps team on setting up CI/CD pipelines within Azure DevOps platform;Work comfortably within a team. Follow Scrum procedures and disciplines;Write technical documentation;Account for secure coding practices, as well as logging and auditing features;

Profile:Bachelor or Master degree;+6 years of working experience;+4 years of experience in .NET Software Development;Experience front-end frameworks. Vue.JS, React, Knockout.JS;Good knowledge of application development environments;Good knowledge of the design and development of web components;Good knowledge of the design and development of back-end components (REST APIs, integrations, micro-services);Good knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g. AGILE);Good knowledge of relational databases;Good knowledge of Microsoft .NET (C#), ASP.NET Core;Good knowledge of OOP paradigms and SOLID principles;Fluency in English;
