Specialist Scala Developer (m/f/d)

We are in search of 8 highly motivated and seasoned Scala Developers (m/f/d) who possess advanced expertise in event streaming, Apache data analytics, and the data warehousing stack. This is for a reporting solution hosted on AWS

Responsibilities:

• Develop Scala applications according to customer requirements• Write Scala code that is maintainable, testable, and scalable• Implement best practices for code quality, unit testing, and system reliability, keeping patient data safe and secure• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging• Fix bugs in Scala code

• Scala (programming language)• Kafka-streams-scala (Kafka Library for Scala)• Dobbie (Functional JDBC Library for Scala)• Event Streaming• Apache Kafka, Apache Parquet, Apache Spark, Apache Hive• Amazon MSK (Managed Kafka Streaming in AWS)• Elastic Search• Infrastructure as Code• Terraform• AWS • Standard know-how• Amazon S3 (Simple Storage Service)• Data analytics and Data Warehouse• Advanced English language level skills
