Lead Developer - Perl

Role DescriptionThis is a full-time remote role for a Lead Developer - Perl. The Lead Developer - Perl will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with developing and maintaining Perl-based applications and systems. They will collaborate with a team to design, develop, and implement software solutions, following best practices and coding standards. The Lead Developer - Perl will also be responsible for troubleshooting and debugging issues, as well as providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

QualificationsStrong proficiency in Perl programming languageExperience with Perl frameworks such as Catalyst or DancerKnowledge of relational databases and SQLExperience with version control systems like GitUnderstanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to work independently and in a teamExcellent communication and collaboration skillsExperience with Linux/Unix systemsKnowledge of software development best practices and coding standardsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
