About the role:You will be building features and tools to fuel the e-commerce logistics revolution at Easyship! We are also looking at rebuilding some of our tools in React, with lots of fascinating architectural challenges ahead. You'll report to the Lead Front End Engineer. Key Relationships: Tech Team and Product team.

Responsibilities:To develop and maintain user-facing featuresTo lead architectural and technical improvement projectsTo ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designsTo collaborate with other team members and stakeholdersTo share your experience and continue to learnTo optimize the application for maximum speed, scalability, and maintainabilityTo be active in the developer community

Requirements:2+ years of experience as a Front End developerProficient knowledge of ES5 and ES6Proficient knowledge of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3Proficient knowledge of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASSProficient understanding of component based Front End developmentProficient understanding modern Js frameworks such as React and VueJsAbility to make pragmatic engineering decisions with timeline constraintsStrong communication skills and interest in UX/UIProficient understanding of Git and using GithubWrite high standard, beautiful, maintainable and reusable codeA background working in product teams at startups

Nice to have:Familiar with Node.jsFamiliar with web animations (SVG and CSS)Being curious about the eCommerce world and the challenges of international logistics
