Lead FullStack Developer (Backend Heavy;Node+React)

As a Fullstack Team Lead, you will join a passionate team, leading the designs of the next generation of feature-rich, business-essential platforms. The client offers an opportunity to mentor engineers and help them design for stability, performance, and scalability across services or clients while rolling up your sleeves and getting hands-on with various code bases.

Reporting to the VP of Engineering, you will work with diverse remote teams. The client is located in NYC but has a remote-first culture, and this is a remote role.

Requirements:

Minimum 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.Experience with technologies such as Node.js, Express, React, Typescript/Javascript, and GCP is preferred.Demonstrated experience in proposing, experimenting, and iterating on technical solutions.Proven track record of improving the quality of software systems, with a keen interest in building fault-tolerant, scalable systems.Experience mentoring and coaching junior engineers.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.All backgrounds are welcome, as we believe diversity fuels creativity and contributes to the success of our products.Having experience working with Flutter is a big plus.Anything else is a bonus

Responsibilities:

Become an expert in the business and technical domainsLead the planning, execution, and release of complex technical projectsWork with partners, product managers, and designers to solve challenging problemsCollaborate with other engineers on the team to improve technology and apply best practicesImplement step-wise technical migrations of the existing services and applications.Grow the team by attracting, onboarding, and coaching new/junior engineers.

What you will be working on:

Seamlessly onboard new customers and manage their orders.Build a smart business card platform that connects members with prospective leads.Support large enterprise customers by integrating their HR systems for onboarding and managing employees business cards.Develop our internal tools which provide operational assistance to internal departments and vendors in the design, printing, and shipping of the client's smart business cards.Further roll out a microservice architecture that offers the building blocks needed to scale the client's services and products.
