BizNest was recently awarded a “Future Economies Innovation Grant” by Innovate UK to help realise this vision by automating our workflow with AI.

We are now seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-stack Engineer to help us build our commercially viable product.

Currently we have over 250 companies on our waitlist including IKEA, Sage, TikTok and Procore.

The Role 💻You will be our first engineering hire and this is therefore a senior/leading role. The right candidate will need demonstrable experience building products from the ground up. You will have the freedom to choose (in conjunction with our CTO) the tech stack, have a competitive salary + stock options in a Venture-backed startup, and be a central piece in creating a game-changing product.

The candidate needs a strong background in Full-stack web development to play a critical role in the development by designing, implementing, and maintaining technologies that will help us deliver an exceptional user experience to our customers. You will be working closely with other team members (product&design) to develop innovative solutions that can help our startup achieve its mission.

Key Responsibilities 🚀

Must-have:Develop and maintain both the front-end (React) and back-end of our platform towards our product roadmap.Integration of third party services (i.e. video streaming, LLM APIs, transcription etc) to enhance the features and functionalities of our platform.Demonstrable experience working with the AWS ecosystem.Work with other team members to identify technical requirements and provide solutions that meet those needs.Deliver high quality code.Communicate&collaborate effectively with the product team, designer and business lead.Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in Full-Stack Development.Can do attitude with a bias for action.

Nice-to-have:Prior start-up experience, ideally with B2B SaaS.Maintain GPT / LLM APIs and prompts to enhance our platform's conversational capabilities.We would highly value prior experience with popular Generative AI platforms such as OpenAI, Hugging Face, Llama, etc plus vector databases for storage and searching of embeddings.

Requirements 👍MUST be UK basedBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.At least 4 years of post University experience in Full-Stack development, working in a fast-paced environment.Strong programming skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL.DevOps experience with setting up and maintaining delivery pipelines to automate build and deployment, incorporating best practice code quality processes (GitHub Actions)Experience with Figma for implementing designs and following a design system.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and collaboration skills.
