Lead Power BI Developer

A Little About This Gig:Agility Partners is looking for a Power BI Developer who will play an active role in the Data Modernization project moving most of our retail client's Corporate Analytics to Power BI while participating in the Corporate Data Governance effort leading strategy and implementation.In this role, you will:Team up with the engineering teams, Business Analysis project members, and business partners to design and develop new Snowflake Views and Power BI objects including Dashboards, Reporting, and Apps among others.Provide technical requirements for implementation of Snowflake and Power BI objectsLearn and support current on prem BI tools and processes while migrating to new Cloud toolsWork with Project Management to communicate timely estimates, updates, project status, and lead communication to project participants

The Perfect Candidate:5+ years in a Power BI development role in a cloud environment - REQUIRED5+ years of experience developing database objects and views optimized for reporting3+ years working with Snowflake - highly preferred Strong organization, communication, and collaboration skillsStrong understanding of data management principlesStrong expertise with DAX and SQLAbility to identify usage scenarios and patterns for BI solutionPersonal Attributes: Self-starter, Collaborative, Curious, Strong work ethic, highly motivated, Team orientedDemonstrated ability in developing a culture that embraces innovation, and challenges existing paradigms
