Principal Developer (C/C++, Java, Scripting (Perl, Python, Shell))- Engineered Systems (Exadata) - Customer Facing

Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

We are looking for engineers who are experts at systems-level, have strong developer experience in C/C++, can understand & adapt faster, and be able to port the software (e.g: on AMD/ARM)

As part of Server Technologies, we are a customer-facing development team and looking for developers having the right aptitude, attitude, and very strong communication skills to drive and resolve product issues faced by Oracle Customers.

As an engineer on our team, you will be a part of the design, development, and release of software to help plan, deliver, and scale our data centers. Contribute to building novel backend systems, RESTful web services, and rich user interfaces. You care about crafting usable, useful software that solves real problems and brings delight to users. You have proven communication skills. You can clearly explain sophisticated technical concepts.

Any development experience in IO subsystems, Operating Systems, Storage technologies, and Oracle Databases would be a plus. Work is non-routine, sophisticated, and highly visible with customer success being the main focus. Prior Experience: Require MS/BS degree and/or equivalent 7-10 years of experience in Development and well-versed with processes in Software Development methodologiesStrong understanding of Object Oriented Programming ConceptsProgramming Languages: C/C++, Java, Scripting (Perl, Python, Shell)
