Job Description:Strong working experience on Scala Programming ( Not sufficient to have limited scala knowledge with spark or Hadoop)Strong working experience on AWS Services ECS, EKS, AWS Batch, AWS Glue, Lambda, Cloudwatch, Athena & QuicksightStrong knowledge on containerization, Docker, ECR, Cloud deploymentGood to have Python or Java knowledge and working experience.Good to have Kafka knowledge.Good to have Terraform KnowledgeGood to have infra structure understanding on the cloud services.Willing to learn new technologies and explore the new skill setAbility to pick up new skills quickly.Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Note from the client: This candidate will be Re-writing mainframe programs that are on-prem using Scala to migrate/move applications to the cloud space (AWS). Candidates must have strong FUNCTIONAL SCALA PROGRAMMING skills and extensive experience working with Scala using AWS - Must be strong with at least one of the following AWS services (Glue, EMR, Batch or ECS). Everything else is more of a nice to have as Functional Scala Programming is the core function of this job, but the team is still very hopeful to find someone with good Terraform experience too.Candidates located in the PST time zone will get priority
