Rust Developer

Webisoft is software development team focused on web3 & emerging technologies.

The team is looking for an experienced Rust developer with a strong interest in Blockchain technology. The ideal candidate has worked on and shipped web3 projects in DeFi and has written smart contracts from scratch.

Key Responsibilities:Build a scalable blockchain-based applicationDevelop necessary code base in Rust and/or other backend-oriented languagesDevelop the specialized modules using Substrate for custom blockchain platformsParticipate in a research process about traits, solutions, trends and security measures required for proper use of blockchain technologyWrite Blockchain smart contractsWrite and helping to maintain automated testsIdentify security risksProvide accurate timing estimates on workContribute to documentation (instructional and technical specification)Discuss technical solutions and providing innovative new ideas to established problems

What You Bring:At least one year of professional experience with Rust programming languagePrevious experience in building enterprise-grade solutions for specialized platforms (Blockchain, FinTech, Artificial Intelligence, etc.)Good knowledge of security best practicesComfortable setting up environment from scratchInitiative, self-motivated and able to work as part of a teamWork well under pressure and to deadlinesComfortable working in an agile environment

Nice-to-Haves:Experience with CosmwasmExperience with Ethereum (or any EVM), Polkadot/Kusama, Solana or CosmosGraphQL, Ethereum nodes & Ethereum JSON-RPC API experience are a nice plusBilingual English, French, and any other languages an asset
