Back End Developer

Role Overview: Backend DeveloperType: Full-timeLocation: Remote / Onsite (Major cities across the USA)Openings: 1200+Experience Level: 3+ years

Responsibilities:Develop and maintain scalable and robust backend services and APIs.Work collaboratively with frontend developers and product managers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.Optimize the application for maximum speed and scalability.Implement security and data protection.Design and implement data storage solutions.Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.Manage hosting environments, including database administration and scaling applications to support load changes.Understand and implement software development best practices.

Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.3+ years of backend development experience.Strong understanding of server-side languages such as Java, Python, Ruby, .NET, or Node.js.Experience with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, and/or PostgreSQL.Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git.Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system.Understanding of performance testing and optimization methodologies.

Preferred Skills:Experience with cloud services (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).Familiarity with frontend technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) for effective team collaboration.Proficient understanding of OWASP security principles.Experience in developing APIs for mobile applications.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
