Position: Cyber Analyst and Front-End Developer

Location: Boise, ID or Remote

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cyber focused Front-End Developer with a strong Foundation in React, D3.js, R, and Django to join our product development team. This multidisciplinary role is perfect for a developer who is passionate about building engaging user interfaces, crafting sophisticated data visualizations, utilizing statistical analysis for data-driven insights, develop scenario modeling interfaces and developing robust backend solutions. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing our product’s cybersecurity insights interface through the development of innovative tools and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement interactive, user-friendly web applications using React.

Create dynamic and responsive data visualizations and dashboards using D3.js.

Utilize R for statistical analysis, data processing, and integrating data analytics into applications using live data connections with backend.

Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and database management systems using Django.

Work closely with cybersecurity analysts to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that aid in data analysis and threat detection.

Develop scenario modeling and what-if analysis interface to represent different metrics, such as KRIs, KPIs, financial metrics, ROI etc.

Ensure high performance, security, and scalability of the application, including development of role-based access control requirements.

Develop interactive widget-based visualization, dashboards and reports to communicate key insights to different business executives such as CXOs, Risk Management Directors, Operational Leaders etc.

Develop integration with external service management and workflow tools for automated resolution of key risk issues.

Stay abreast of the latest technology trends and cybersecurity threats, incorporating new technologies and methodologies into your work.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products within project timelines.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Strong proficiency in front-end development with React and data visualization with D3.js or other libraries.

Demonstrated experience with R for statistical computing and analysis.

Demonstrated experience in developing compelling UI/UX designs.

Solid understanding of Django for backend development, including ORM, templates, and RESTful services.

Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and practices and experience developing cyber risk quantification and scenario modeling interfaces.

Experience with developing product administration and configuration interfaces, e.g. User and identity integration/management, automated data acquisition, platform configuration etc.

Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information to a non-technical audience and ability to work in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with cybersecurity data analysis or working in a cybersecurity environment.

Knowledge of additional programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) and frameworks/libraries.

Experience with version control systems, CI/CD pipeline systems such as Git.

Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
