Responsibilities • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and implement efficient workflow.• Design, develop, and maintain ALM tools and solutions, with a primary focus on JIRA.• Customize and configure JIRA to meet specific needs and standards.• Integrate JIRA with other tools and systems within the development ecosystem.• Provide technical support and training to end-users on ALM tools and best practices.• Update team on the latest trends and advancements in ALM methodologies.• Advise the team on and recommend possible improvements and enhancements to current ALM tools.• Troubleshoot issues and provide technical support for ALM tools and systems.
Required Skills: • Strong language, writing, and editing skills in English.• Proven experience as an ALM Tools Designer, with a strong emphasis on JIRA.• Proven experience as an ALM Tools Developer, with a strong emphasis on JIRA.• In-depth knowledge of JIRA administration, configuration, and customization.• Attention to detail, ensuring the delivery of high-quality documentation with a sharp focus on identifying discrepancies, errors, or areas for improvement.• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.• Experience with integrating JIRA with other development tools (e.g. Git, Jenkins, Confluence)• A solid understanding of SDLC.• Efficient time management skills for prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills: • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript• Familiarity with the Waterfall methodology and processes involved in Project Management• Familiarity or experience with other ALM tools such as GitLab, Bitbucket, or Azure DevOps.• Advanced technical skills for limited custom coding.
