Description:
An Azure Developer specializes in developing and managing applications within the Microsoft Azure cloud platform. One needs a strong foundation in cloud computing concepts and expertise in Azure services to become an Azure Developer. Mastery of programming languages such as C#, Python, and JavaScript is essential since these are commonly used in Azure application development. This role involves a deep understanding of Azure-specific services like Azure SQL Database, Azure DevOps, and Azure Active Directory, which are instrumental in designing, building, and managing scalable, efficient cloud applications.
Responsibilities:Design and Implement Azure Solutions: Develop scalable, maintainable, and secure cloud solutions. Ensure these solutions integrate seamlessly with existing systems and meet business requirements.Analysis and Design – Converts high-level design to low-level design and implements it Run unit and integration tests on all created code – Create and run unit and integration tests throughout the development lifecycle Support and Troubleshooting – Assist the Operations Team with any environmental issues that arise during application deployment in the Development, QA, Staging, and Production environments Cloud Infrastructure Management: Oversee the deployment, management, and operation of applications on Azure. This includes configuring cloud environments and ensuring optimal performance.Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud architectures, processes, and best practices.Collaborate with Team Leads to define/clarify business requirements, estimate development costs, and finalize work plans
Required Qualifications:BS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent years of experience.Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services.Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services, including Azure Active Directory, App Services, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Virtual Machines.Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, and .NET.Familiarity with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and Argo CD Logical thinking and problem-solving abilities, as well as the capacity to collaborate
