Day to day activities:

Collaborate with your team to develop features and improvements to the Alex Solutions product in a secure, well-tested, and performant way.Practice Test Driven Development (TDD), ensuring that effective tests are created prior to writing programming code, and that code is structured to maximize testabilityFollow agile software development practices such as test driven development, continuous delivery and pair programming.Conduct and participate in code reviewsProvide technical mentorship to other team members more junior to you

Skills required:

Strong Object oriented programming skills (Java)Strong Javascript skillsStrong React, Redux, Express skillsStrong Node.js, Typescript skillsStrong RESTful API knowledge and API best practicesStrong experience in versioning process and unit testingStrong knowledge in Continuous Integration and Continuous Development practicesExperience with Confluence & JiraExperience working with Agile software methodologiesYou love to grow and share your knowledge among peers
