Roles & Responsibilities ServiceNow CoEI platform architect should be a technical leader who provides leadership to the platform operations and support teams, ensures the platforms aligns with the business strategy, and leads the development of architectural and technical standards and best practices. Platform architect should have experience with ServiceNow enterprise architecture, security, database design schemas and data modeling, requirements gathering, integration, middleware, and discovery technologies. Also practical experience with Now Platform performance and Health Scan execution.• The platform architect defines and documents standards, analyzes the impact of new requirements, and establishes controls (for example, through design board or agile ceremonies).• Platform architect should have advanced technical knowledge of the Now Platform as well as a solid understanding of business strategy and governance practices. • Responsibilities may include:•Creating and maintaining the detailed views of existing architecture•Aligning Now Platform capabilities with the business strategy and enterprise ServiceNow roadmap•Leading the platform operations or support team in implementing technical standards, best practices, policies, and procedures•Developing platform architectural controls and impact analysis for new requirements•Maintaining instance strategy•Identifying reuse opportunities•Developing the integration strategy between the Now Platform and other enterprise systems•Providing leadership when implementing new requirements on the Now Platform•Contributing to the governance processesGeneric Managerial Skills
