We’re searching for a C# or .NET Developer with demonstrable experience developing Windows Forms Applications. You’ll be joining a fleet, asset & risk management software provider who are undertaking multiple desktop to web application migrations.

Key Skills:Developing Windows Forms Applications in C# or VB.NETWeb Development in ASP.Net MVCUnit testing experienceSQL, Microsoft SQL Server (2012 onwards), relational database design and performance diagnostics, with an ability to write and optimise SQL queries.An ability to debug large, multi-solution, multi-layer projects.Object Oriented programming practices, SOLID principles and design patterns.UK resident with unrestricted rights to work in the UK; please note we cannot offer sponsorship for overseas candidates.

Key Responsibilities:Understand industry requirements and develop solutions aligned with our clients’ product range.Design, develop, and modify software according to established standards and guidelines.Propose and assess solutions to design issues, identifying and evaluating new technologies and third-party components.Mentor team members, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices within the development team.
Desirable Skills:Entity FrameworkWeb API, REST API, API and front-end development technologies – CSS3 and HTMLAgile and Waterfall methodologiesJavaScript frameworks: Knockout (MVVM Frameworks)An understanding of security considerations when designing and developing public-facing applications and API endpoints.DevOps and deployment of projectsDeveloping Windows Services
