We currently have excellent opportunities for a motivated .Net Developer to join First Derivative based in Toronto. These opportunities are offered on a contract basis, initially for 3-4 months with likelihood of extension to 2026.

First Derivative provides a range of managed services and consulting worldwide to its clients in the Capital Markets sector, including many of the world’s leading banks, focused on supporting mission-critical systems as well as helping them to achieve and maintain regulatory compliance. This project is an implementation project of a new application, typical duties will range but will typically include creating in-house applications using the .NET framework, debugging and maintaining written code. Reporting and resolving issues related to projects. Working in a project team alongside other developers.

Experience:.NET 6.xXMLREST APIsAWS Core Concepts (Developer Level)Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) PrinciplesService-Oriented Architecture (SOA) Messaging Exposure.NET 6 CoreExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and complete projects with minimal supervision.Sound understanding of coding and development processes.Experience with working in an agile environment.
