SummaryWe are looking for an Oracle developer for our client - one of the world's largest natural resource companies.

You will be a part of a cross-functional team responsible for maintaining and modernization of the existing trading platform. It is a long-term project that will require close collaboration with business and IT stakeholders and the implementation of new features.

ResponsibilitiesAssess business requirements and provide development estimatesTranslate user requirements to user stories and technical taskWork closely with BA and QA teams to deliver fit for purpose technical solutionsDeliver quality code changes according to timescales providedProvide regular updates regarding development progressAct as part of the project team and be fully supportive to other members within the team

RequirementsMinimum of 5 years of experience in an Oracle database environmentStrong SQL skills for handling database requests and solid Oracle PL/SQL (Oracle v19.x) experienceStrong SQL & PL/SQL experience including tuning, testing, and proper exception handlingHave experience working on an application/transactional-based system rather than only on data warehousing/batch processingExperience with integration projects with significant data transformationsComfortable working with other developers to develop the packages for their use. The developer will be building the API for the PowerBuilder application and needs to collaborate with them to ensure the functionality worksDesigning and creating packages to expose the underlying application schema as an interface API to external applicationsAbility to troubleshoot and resolve application, interface, workflow, reporting, and data integrity issuesDemonstrate understanding of software development life cycles like Agile and WaterfallEnglish: C1 Advanced
