Senior Web Developer

Maestra (maestra.ai) is a web-based editing platform that allows users to automatically caption, transcribe, and voiceover their videos, as well as translate their subtitles to 125+ foreign languages automatically, using speech synthesis and machine learning technology. We're a US-based startup working remotely, and we're looking for a web developer to join our team.This is not an application/front-end development role. You will assist in developing and maintaining our website. You'll be required to work in coherence with our Content Writing and Development teams in order to implement and maintain various landing pages or blogs.Qualifications:Fluency in English is a mustProficient with web design languages; including HTML, CSS, JavaScript and WordPressSelf-motivation to work in a high-paced startup environmentKnowledge of SEO principles and keyword researchFamiliarity with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, ahrefs, semrush and mozEssential Job Functions:Implement landing pages and their localizations that are available on our backlogRecommend improvements to website architecture, content, internal linking, and other factors to improve the ranking for target keywordsImplement site improvements, track and address technical issues that come up during website auditsLook into Google Analytics metrics such as bounce rate, CTR, page engagement and implement changes to achieve better statsBonus Points:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Marketing or a related fieldExperience with SAAS (software as a service)You have design experienceSEO-optimized content writing and editing skillsExperience with Google Ads
