Brooksource is seeking two (2) mid-level IBM Datacap Developers for one of one our Federal Consulting clients to support their end client in the SLED space. The Developer will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing document capture and data extraction solutions using IBM Datacap and AWS Textract. Data capture includes digital and handwritten forms in English and other languages. This individual will be part of Datacap development team and must understand business requirements, follow architecture guidelines, and able to deliver high-quality solutions.
RESPONSIBILITES Develop IBM Datacap and AWS Textract solutions to meet business needs, including document classification, data extraction, and workflow automation.Develop and customize IBM Datacap using .NET/C#, AWS Textract application flows, modules, and components using Datacap Studio, Datacap Navigator, and other tools.Configure and optimize document recognition + extraction rules with Datacap’s intelligent capture technology.Integrate IBM Datacap and AWS Textract with other enterprise systems, such as content management systems, ERP systems, and line-of-business applications.Develop custom scripts, modules, and plugins to extend the functionality of IBM Datacap and integrate with third-party systems.Perform unit, integration, and system testing to ensure quality and reliability of developed solutions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, architects, and QA testers, to deliver end-to-end solutions.
REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is required.5+ YOE developing and customizing software solutions using IBM Datacap, such as document classification, data extraction, and workflow automation. Strong experience within document/data capture imaging and Enterprise Content Management (ECM) systems.Experience with C#/.NET for customizing Datacap solutions, including the development of application flows, modules, and components. Experience within AWS environment, such as utilizing AWS Services or provisions.Experience configuring and optimizing document recognition and extraction rules using IBM Datacap’s intelligent data capture technology.Hands-on experience with unit testing, integration testing, and system testing.Strong interpersonal + problem-solving skills and ability to work with others in a collaborative environment.
NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLSExperience with AWS Textract for text, data, and handwriting extraction. Experience with integrating IBM Filenet into the Datacap environment.Experience in SQL Server/SQL Programming for database operations.Ability to write APIs for downstream integrations within the Datacap ecosystem.Possession of relevant certifications, particularly an IBM certified Datacap Developer certification, is considered advantageous.
