Role: Lead Software DeveloperLocation: This role can be fully remote, OR ad-hoc office visits into the office in Hove.Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 depending on experience

Synchro is exclusively working with a client in the financial services sector, which operates on a global scale. Engaging with sellers worldwide in various languages, their objective is to assist ecommerce businesses in accessing global markets by simplifying VAT compliance.We are looking for a Senior Software Developer, proficient in Node.js/TypeScript to become part of the team.

You'll have the chance to play a pivotal role in implementing crucial features and functionalities, ensuring the upkeep of high-quality code standards through code reviews, and working closely with diverse teams to bring forth inventive technical solutions. We're seeking an individual driven by a thirst for ongoing learning and innovation, possessing exceptional communication skills, and displaying a proactive attitude towards staying abreast of the latest technologies and industry trends.

What we are looking for:Experience advanced TypeScript and Node.jsMentoring a team of 2 Junior DevelopersExperience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with a track record of deploying and managing applications in complex GCP environments. (or AWS/Azure).Good knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles and tools such as Terraform.Strong background in designing and implementing robust monitoring and logging solutions would be a large plus.Proven experience as a Senior Engineer or a similar role, with extensive hands-on experience in designing and implementing advanced CI/CD pipelines and utilising build tools.
