Overview

The Android Developer plays a crucial role in our organization, responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality Android applications. They work closely with our product and design teams to create innovative and user-friendly mobile experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.Work with outside data sources and APIs.Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance.Stay up-to-date with new technology trends in the mobile application development space.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.Proven experience as an Android Developer.Proficient in Java, Kotlin, and the Android SDK.Experience with remote data via REST and JSON.Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.Understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines.Experience with version control using Git.Published at least one original Android app.
