Sr. Developer - IT Applications/Integrations

Overview: We're seeking a seasoned Senior Integration Developer with expertise in Talend, ESB, and integration processes to join our team immediately on a contract basis. Your role will involve leading ETL design and implementation, optimizing integration solutions, and fostering collaboration across teams.Responsibilities:Design and implement ETL processes using Talend, ensuring efficient data mapping, transformation, and integration architecture.Develop robust integration solutions utilizing Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) concepts.Optimize integration solution performance through performance tuning and optimization techniques.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver effective integration solutions.Lead both junior and senior developers within the project team, overseeing the delivery of tasks and projects.Develop and maintain REST APIs to facilitate seamless communication between systems.Work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, delivering high-quality software solutions within deadlines.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.7+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on Talend, ESB, and integration technologies.Proven experience in designing and implementing ETL processes using Talend.Strong expertise in Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) concepts and implementation.In-depth knowledge of data mapping, transformation, and integration architecture.Experience with performance tuning and optimization of integration solutions.Proficient in integrating systems, applications, and databases through Middleware, ESB, APIs, and messaging.In-depth expertise in Talend for data integration and Kafka for real-time data streaming and processing.Strong understanding of Middleware technologiesExperience in complex system integration.Preferred Skills:Certification in Talend or relevant ESB technologies.Familiarity with cloud-based integration platforms.Experience with message queuing systems and event-driven architectures (Kafka, Active-MQ, etc.).Proficiency in developing REST APIs.
