DescriptionWe are seeking a highly experienced Senior Drupal Engineer to work remotely from anywhere in Latin America. As a Drupal Sr. Engineer, you will lead the technical vision, architecture, and execution of a project. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide engineering oversight and mentorship, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure Drupal solutions.
ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the Technical Director to define and implement the project's technical architecture.Unblock the team, provide guidance, and lead code reviews.Estimate requirements, review designs and prototypes for feasibility, and suggest alternatives.Develop and maintain Drupal features, integrations, and proofs of concept.Embrace DevOps practices, automated testing, and continuous integration/deployment.Support the QA team and improve processes to find and fix bugs.Manage project scope, budget, and timelines, delegating tasks effectively.Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry best practices.
Requirements
Required Skills:Extensive experience with Drupal content management system and associated tools (e.g., Drush).Proficiency with versioning tools (e.g., Git) and DevOps processes.Experience with build tools (e.g., Webpack, Gulp, Grunt).Familiarity with web application security, SEO, and responsive design.Knowledge of automated testing platforms, code generation, and CI/CD tools.Strong problem-solving, communication, and mentorship abilities.Experience working with cross-functional teams and remote teams.Comfortable with client communication, demonstrations, and presentations.Expertise in estimation, scope management, and documentation.Experience with long-term projects (6+ months).Nice to have:Experience with Mobile specific sites and Mobile applications.Experience with standard web-based implementations.
