Senior Software Developer (Node.js/Next.js/React)

AbdifatahCodes Tech Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Software Developer, you will play a key role in leading the technical development efforts of our company, working closely with our Tech Lead, Abdifatah Osman. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Node.js, Next.js, React, and TypeScript, along with proficiency in Linux, Git, AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies.

Responsibilities:Designing, developing, and deploying high-quality software solutions using Node.js, Next.js, React, and TypeScript.Leading technical discussions and providing guidance on architecture, design, and implementation.Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within scope.Implementing best practices for code quality, testing, and performance optimization.Utilizing AWS services for cloud-based development and deployment.Implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.Following agile methodologies to ensure efficient project delivery and continuous improvement.Requirements:3+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on Node.js, Next.js, React, and TypeScript.Proficiency in Linux-based environments and version control systems such as Git.Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS services such as EC2, S3, and Lambda.Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Github Actions or CircleCI.Familiarity with agile methodologies and principles, including Scrum and Kanban.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Benefits:Competitive salary or equity participation based on the "Slicing Pie Handbook" model.Opportunities for professional growth and development.Flexible work hours and remote work options.Dynamic and collaborative work environment with a focus on innovation and creativity.
