The RoleYou will have a decisive role in ETAP's expansion in the Norwegian market, which is currently a new market for ETAP. This means that you will drive sales throughout Norway with support mainly from your Nordic colleagues, but as an international company, help can be found anywhere in the world. As a Sales Engineer, you are responsible for the entire sales process for both small and large customers. ETAP's customers can be found in all industries, two examples are in the construction of properties and industries, where the customers often operate as e.g. consulting engineers and electrical installers and secondly, in the manufacturing industry where the customers are often manufacturers of machinery and production equipment, and End Users. You will be part of the Nordic team of currently 19 employees who will do everything to support you and for you to succeed in your mission in Norway. The organization is well-functioning and has had constantly growing results. As part of your introduction, you will receive thorough training at the office in Denmark to familiarize yourself with the products, the company and your new colleagues. Who are you?You who are passionate about business, have great social skills and thrive in the sales role. As a person, you are outgoing, entrepreneurial, driven and independent with a good sense of humour. Given the nature of the business with relatively long sales cycles, your energy, high activity level and persistence will make you successful in the role. You have an electrical background in terms of education and your work experience could be as an electrical engineer, electrical contractor or similar who then moved into sales in the electrical sector. It will also help if you have an existing relevant business network within the electrical branch in Norway. We take it for granted that you speak both Norwegian and English fluently. Greatest Attractions in the jobYou will be working with state-of-the-art software that makes a difference for every customer not just by optimizing both design, production and documentation but also helping our customers to become more sustainable and reduce their carbon footprint. This is a great opportunity for a person with entrepreneurial spirit to become a key part of ETAP’s expansion in Norway. You will be responsible for acquiring new customers in Norway and ETAP’s success in Norway will be highly dependent on your efforts. This is an ideal position for a person who wants to be part of building something from the early stages and to be part of ETAP’s growth journey. It is important to be able to think long-term and see the expansion possibilities, even when in the beginning sales might not be increasing as quickly as you are used to. The sales processes are often quite long (on average about 3-6 months, but it depends on every sales situation) and the existent customer base in Norway is quite small, so the first months will be about learning the product portfolio and starting new customer relationships. Location in NorwayIt is desirable that you live in the larger Oslo area. https://etap.com/https://www.ige-xao.com/en/https://www.se.com/uk/en/
