Senior Liferay Developer : Contract Role

Senior Liferay DeveloperWe're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Liferay Developer to lead and mentor our development team.

Responsibilities:Lead the development of complex Liferay projects from design to implementationDesign, develop, and implement Liferay solutions using best practices and coding standardsMentor and guide junior and mid-level developersConduct code reviews and provide valuable feedbackTroubleshoot and solve complex Liferay related issuesStay up-to-date on the latest Liferay features, trends, and best practicesContribute to the overall Liferay development strategyLead the effort estimation process using story points and ensure its accuracyo Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams.o Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope and deliverables.o Conduct effort estimations for development tasks and projects.o Interact with clients to understand requirements, provide updates, and gather feedback.o Assist in solutioning by proposing technical solutions that align with business goals.o Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and best practices.Develop and maintain API connections to integrate Liferay Portal with external systemsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Overall experience 9+Years 5+ years of experience working with Liferay platformExtensive Java programming skillsExtensive experience with Liferay Portal development.Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.Strong leadership and communication skills.Ability to estimate effort accurately for development tasks and projects.Experience in client interaction, including requirement gathering and feedback sessions.Ability to propose technical solutions and participate in solutioning sessions.Experience conducting code reviews and ensuring code quality.Proficiency in developing and maintaining API connections for system integration.
