The SQL Developer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining SQL databases, as well as writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting SQL queries. This role will also involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, develop solutions, and ensure the smooth operation of our database systems.

Responsibilities:Design and develop SQL databases, including data structures, tables, views, indexes, and constraints.Write efficient, well-structured, and optimized SQL queries for data retrieval, manipulation, and reporting.Perform database performance tuning, optimization, and capacity planning to ensure optimal system performance.Work closely with software developers, data analysts, and business analysts to understand data requirements and translate them into database solutions.Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, including data integrity, security, and scalability. Collaborate with the IT team to implement and maintain backup, recovery, and data retention strategies.Maintain documentation of database schemas, data dictionaries, and data flow diagrams. Develop and enforce data security policies, user access controls, and data protection measures.Monitor and analyze database usage, identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks.Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging database technologies, and SQL-related trends.Proven experience as a SQL Developer or in a similar role. Proficiency in SQL programming and experience with relational database management systems (RDBMS), such as SQL Server, MySQL, or Oracle (Preferably SQL server.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Familiarity with database design and data modeling.Knowledge of data security, encryption, and access control. Experience with data migration, transformation, and ETL processes is a plus.Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Database certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate) is a plus.Cloud Exposure (AWS/Azure/GCP) and RDS, NoSQL Experience will be a plus.
