Job Description:Applicants will be working in a growing and fast passed environment with one of our customers that is a global CDN supporting many customers such as AWS streaming, Netflix, HBO, Microsoft, and more. Applicants will be expected to have a strong understanding of Python and networking so that they can immediately get started and start making an impact. Applicants must have current Top-Secret clearance to work on restricted projects with government customers that our CDN customer supports. Applicants will be working directly with our CDN customer to work projects and updates to current systems to ensure proper functions and most optimized processing for network speed and efficiency. Responsibilities can include:Work directly on customer projects in secure environments.Work with customer teams to find and fix bugs in data flows and applications.Write new applications and modify current applications to meet customer demands.Write code where speed and efficiency are critical to success.Create and pull metrics to show and test speed and performance of applications.Investigate metrics and implement fixes to code and data flows to increase speed and performance.Participate in customer meetings to share project status and architecture reviews of projects. Experience and Skills:5+ years of Python development in professional environment. A focus on networking would be ideal.Deep understanding of networking and underlying technologies.Top Secret US security clearance (must be active/current).Ability to work independently and in small to medium sized team settings.Previous experience with the Military doing this work is a plus.
