This is a full-time remote role for a Javascript Developer (React/Next.js). As a Javascript Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using Next.js or Remix to connect to Commerce and CMS backends (Adobe Commerce, BigCommerce, Shopify, Contentful, etc). Your day-to-day tasks will be developing and customizing interfaces, collaborating with team members, writing clean and efficient code, and troubleshooting issues. This role offers an opportunity to work on challenging projects and contribute to the success of our clients. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of modern Javascript development and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. Responsibilities:Develop new and adapt existing interfaces and functionality on React projects (Next.js and Remix).Work with Node.js middleware to relay GraphQL and REST API requests to various backend services.Setup and work with Content Management Systems such as Contentful and WordpressDevelop code and API queries that integrate with Commerce systems such as Shopify, Adobe Commerce, and BigCommerce.Measure and improve performance on websites.Communicate with project leadership to ensure expectations are clear.Proactively identify and address potential technical roadblocks.Troubleshoot bugs and recommend solutions.Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and quality assurance, to help facilitate seamless project execution. Qualifications:Professional experience building React and Next.js websites (1+ years)Experience with Typescript.Experience with interacting with GraphQL and REST APIs.Experience with modern front-end technologies and building applications using React, Next.js, and Node.js.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and internal teams.Strong attention to detail.Ability to work in a team environment with a project manager and others.Ability to understand and solve complex bugs and development tasks.Experience with ecommerce (Shopify, Adobe Commerce, or BigCommerce) or a willingness to learn the platforms' APIs.Excellent English.
