Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for a Back End Developer. The Back End Developer will be responsible for the development and implementation of server-side logic and database/application integration for web applications. They will also collaborate with the Front End Developers to ensure seamless integration between the front-end and back-end aspects of the application. The Back End Developer will be responsible for maintaining and debugging existing code, as well as optimizing and scaling the application for performance.

Qualifications

Back-End Web Development and Software Development skillsExperience in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)Front-End Development and Programming skillsExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to work independently and remotelyExperience with version control systems (e.g., Git)Familiarity with Agile development methodologiesStrong knowledge of database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)Experience with cloud hosting platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plusBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred
