We're seeking a Senior Android Developer to join our talented team and play a pivotal role in developing a next-generation mobile application focused on food, menus, and commerce.

About the roleDesign, develop, and implement high-quality, performant Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to define features specific to food, menus, and commerce functionalities, translate concepts into technical requirements, and deliver exceptional user experiences.Leverage Google Maps and implement geofencing functionalities within the app.Integrate Google Pay and Google Wallet for seamless payment processing.Continuously optimize app performance and identify potential bottlenecks.Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code adhering to best practices and coding standards.Conduct unit testing to ensure code robustness and identify and fix bugs before release.Stay up-to-date on the latest Android technologies and best practices.Demonstrate the ability to work independently and draw from past experience to solve problems, without constant reliance on senior leadership for direction (ideally 6-8 years of experience).

What we are looking for 5-8 years of experience as an Android developerProven track record of shipping high-quality Android appsExpertise in Kotlin and strong object-oriented programming principlesIn-depth knowledge of Android Studio, Jetpack libraries, and the Android development environmentExperience with Google Maps and geofencingExperience integrating Google Pay and Google WalletA passion for building elegant and user-friendly applicationsExcellent problem-solving and debugging skillsStrong communication and collaboration skillsAdvanced English level (B2 or higher) and proven experience working in the language.

Nice to havePrior experience with food, menus, and commerce applicationsExperience with Oracle Simphony/Micros integration is a major plusExperience with a continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) environmentExperience working in an Agile development methodology
