In 2023, Statrat Technologies Corp. was created to revive this original application. Statrat is an early-stage technology startup focused on giving baseball athletes a place to track and share their games. This is achieved through Statrat Baseball, a social stat-tracking app for baseball players. Job Description: Join Statrat, a dynamic startup changing the sports-tech landscape, as a Software Engineer. Collaborating closely with Co-Founder Kalen Leflar and Statrat’s lead developer, you'll spearhead the development of a web application, seamlessly integrating with Statrat Baseball's mobile app. With minimal front-end UI requirements, most of your time will be spent on back-end development for the web application. As a new startup, development tasks can rapidly change, and our small team must quickly adapt to these changes. As a result of this dynamic, you may also be asked to perform front-end or back-end work on the main mobile application. Depending on your experience across these areas. What will you do in this role?· Work closely with Statrat founders and directors to create and lead web-app project.· Work with Statrat’s lead developer.· Design, develop, and test the web-app you are leading.· Lead a team on the development of the project (in the case of new developer hires). Who are we looking for?· A recent post-secondary graduate (within the last 12 months).· A hard-working individual that is self-motivated and able to work independently.· Experience working with MySQL, Lua, and Redis (or willing to learn).· Someone that wants to pursue team/project leadership roles in the future.· Someone interested in growing with Statrat as this role could transition to a permanent role.
