Years of experience required: 4 to 5 years.
Responsabilities:Responsible for analysis, design, code, and testing of multiple components of application code for multiple Texas Medicaid systems using CASE tools (CA Gen / AllFusion Gen / Cool:Gen). Involved in maintenance, enhancement and/or development work of modules and those that interface with other applications. Has a range of technical skills including CASE tool development, structured programming, and SQL. Combines technical skills with knowledge Texas Medicaid systems and business processes to develop effective solutions. As a senior team member, performs coaching, coordinates/oversees the work of others, and may lead small work efforts. Significant client interaction and responsible for maintaining client relationships. Participates in pager/on-call support, deployment of production releases, and introduction of new services into production environment. Helps identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
- 4+ years of experience in application maintenance and/or development2. 3+ years of development experience in one of the following programming languages: CA Gen / AllFusion Gen / Cool:Gen, C, C++, C# .NET, java.3. 3+ years of experience with SQL4. 1+ year of managing people or leading technical development staff5. Experience with Texas Medicaid or in comparable healthcare or claims processing industry6. Experience with specific technical platforms including HP NonStop (aka NSK, Tandem), Unix, or Linux7. Experience providing production on-call support8. Experience maintaining customer relationships
