Job Description: [Integration + OMS]That will be a mix of OMS+Java (30%+70%)

Core Accountabilities:Build and extend applications in a cloud (AWS) environment using Spring Boot , Kafka , EKS , Apigee and AWS components.Ensure that customer facing applications are designed to be highly available, observable, and durable via software engineering best practices.Work with Product and Project Owners to understand end-user requirements, formulate user stories and then translate those into pragmatic and effective technical solutions.Work closely with onsite and remote frontend, backend, and operations engineers to ensure deliverables are well-documented, secure, and resilient.Help engineering management prioritize technical roadmap and to identify gaps in process and planning.Help to establish and document development best practices and ensure that these practices are adhered to.

Required Skills, Experience:Having some past experience or knowledge of OMS system would be a plus.Minimum 8 years of real-world experience developing, deploying, scaling, and maintaining AWS cloud based Microservices and APIs.Must have development experience on Java/j2ee, Spring Framework Spring boot , Kafka , Apigee and java open-source technologies.Experience with building and maintaining AWS based integration using S3, API gateway, Lambda , EC2, EKS and SQL/No-SQL .Productive in Java/J2EE development environments. Qualified candidates have real-world experience in the development life cycles of complex E-commerce applications.Experience with unit testing frameworks.Strong software development fundamentals including automated testing, source control (Gitlab), continuous integration in addition to continuous delivery and/or deployment. Experience integrating web frontends with complex multi-tier applications.Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong willingness to learn and teach. A passion for solving problems and desire to understand how things work.Ability to help troubleshoot and resolve production system issues.Ability to author well designed, testable, efficient code.
