Who we are looking for.A Remote SQL Server Developer who will join the Management Information Systems (MIS)Regulatory team to help fulfil the crucial requirement of provisioning data to regulators andother third parties.A vital condition of regulated gambling markets is the provision of data to regulators and otherthird parties. The MIS Regulatory team is responsible for building and maintaining real-timeand batch reporting systems to fulfil this requirement. The semantics of third party reportingrequirements often result in complex business logic to transform bet365 data models to those of the regulators.These systems are currently implemented in SQL Server, .NET windows services, .NET webservices, APIs and SSRS reports. You will be responsible for the continued development of theSQL Server and SSRS elements of the department’s most critical systems.The day to day work is interesting
Preferred skills and experience• Commercial SQL Server database development experience in the field of database centric real• time high volume software development.• Methodical with high attention to detail.• Relish development and support of mission critical software.• Knowledge of SQL Server performance monitoring and query tuning.• Experience of working in a team environment delivering high quality solutions.• Ability to work to deadlines in a continually changing, reactive environment.
Main Responsibilities• Participating in the development and maintenance of regulatory submission systems utilising• SQL Server.• Working alongside other members of the team on multi developer projects.• Assisting in the continuous improvement, maintenance and housekeeping of databases and• existing solutions.• Implementing solutions in line with departmental standards, adhering to the development• process.• Taking responsibility for the creation and maintenance of relevant documentation.
