Backend Software Developer

In this role, you will own the development of APIs for various datasets and help implement them into our customer systems. You will also work with the team to build POC's and showcase what Thomson Reuters can do.

About The Role

In this opportunity as Backend Software Developer, you will:

Develop new and/or update existing API'sTest API's for functionality and/or compatibility.Work with cross-functional team to modify and/or implement API's for various databases.Document API development, implementation, and testing procedures.Work with team to develop and implement front end components in POC's for new systems.

About You

You're a fit for the role of Backend Software Developer, if your background includes:

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Related Field, or Equivalent Experience2+ Years of Software Development ExperienceExperience with Python based API developmentExperience with SQL (or Oracle) based database developmentExperience with JSON file manipulation.Ability to work independently with minimal instruction.Ability to problem solve with available resources.Experience with .NET development is preferred, but not required.

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The location(s) for this role include one or more of the following states: CA, CO, CT, IL, NV, TX, WA and/or remote. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $71,400 - $132,600. The base compensation range in other locations may vary. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
